After all the Oscar hype surrounding this film, I decided it was in my best interest to see it. 

Turns out it was not in my best interest to spend money on this film. While I tried, albeit desperately, to like this visually stimulating and gorgeous film in 3D, the plot was lagging and disconnected, the characters uninspired, and the dialogue oftentimes too much for this critic. Hugo was, sadly, a quite over-hyped movie.

Pretty much my entire experience. Why Bridesmaids did not win I do not know. So sad. But everything was quite… disappointing yesterday.

After their epic freshman album, Aim and Ignite, I expected more from fun.’s sophomore album. There was not a song I did not like on their first album, an album that literally had everything. Barlights brought the jam you could sway your body to, while Walking The Dog brought funky beats that provided the soundtrack to your life when walking from class to class.
